He was one of the principal leaders involved with the development of the McKinney Homeless Shelter in 1988 and afterward. In 2001, he became Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

In addition to his administrative responsibilities, Mr. Paranzino has developed a special interest in Disaster Response, having served as a Red Cross volunteer immediately following the 1999 Egypt Air crash. In thanking those who attended the celebration, Mr. Paranzino said, "My goal has always been to provide quality services, to develop and operate effective programs, and to help people. We all know that there is still much work to be done. Our community and clients still have a great many unmet healthcare needs. In that regard, my work is still very much unfinished. I continue to have the energy to work at it!" "I feel very fortunate to have found NCCMHC and to have been given the opportunity to develop my career working with so many talented professionals."

From all of us at NCCMHC we look forward to working together into the future as we continue to provide effective ways to help our clients.

                                                  Public Statement

With summer thunderstorms rolling over the bay and hurricane season only months away, the Newport County Community Mental Health Center (NCCMHC) staff worry a little more than usual about the medicine they administer to patients throughout Newport County. They aren't worried about doses, or availability, or even the price of the medicine – they worry because it's perishable and, until now, there was no way to keep it cold in the event of a power outage at their  office located at 65 Valley Road in Middletown.

After learning about the situation, the KVH Charitable Giving Committee stepped in to help by purchasing and donating a backup power supply that will keep thousands of dollars of valuable medicine cold should the office lose power. Committee member Paul Boudreau even installed the generator when he, Chris Watson, and Tennille Bartlett visited NCCMHC on June 11, 2008. J. Clement "Bud" Cicilline, President and CEO, thanked KVH for the donation, saying, "On behalf of the clients, staff, and Board of Directors of the Newport County Community Mental Health Center, I want to express profound appreciation for your recent donation. You may be sure that your contribution will be put to good use. You have our abiding appreciation for being so thoughtful and caring."
