CASE MANAGER (Children's Services)
Individual works with children in the ECDT program in the therapeutic milieu; reinforce the goals of the treatment plan; assist the parents when taking part in floor-time visits; take part in home visits to bridge the progress from the program to home; provide the parents with the necessary community resources; take part in supervision and staff meetings; be able to work and collaborate as part of a team; possess good communication skills; be able to assist the clients with care needs such as feeding, basic hygiene, toileting and diapering; help to maintain a clean working environment; possess positive behavioral management skills and complete all necessary paperwork within the Agency timelines.
Bachelor's degree in the Human Services field. One year experience working with pre-school children.
CASE MANAGER
Provides therapeutic and supportive counseling services to psychiatrically disabled men and women of Newport County who have demonstrated an ability to maintain themselves in the community with minimal supervision and support. Develop treatment plans for and with clients and provide crisis intervention, advocacy, and ongoing community support as needed.
Bachelor's Degree; one year of experience working in the human services field.
CASE MANAGER
Assists providing case management services in order to resolve both immediate and long-term issues that impair clients' ability to maintain responsible, independent living in the community. This position assumes primary responsibility for the safety of residents and proper maintenance and security of the facility during the absence of the shift counselor.
Bachelor's Degree with major in social work, rehabilitation, sociology, psychology, counseling or human services preferred and two years full-time paid professional experience in the Human Services field. Valid driver's license with the ability to obtain a chauffeurs license.
Must be able to work weekends.
SUBSTANCE ABUSE SPECIALIST
Provides comprehensive case management services (assertive outreach model) to clients with severe and persistent mental illness with a special emphasis on substance abuse assessment and treatment with a team model. Completes the Intake/Psychosocial Assessment to determine a differential diagnosis including mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
LCDP certified in the State of Rhode Island or Bachelor's degree with major in Social Sciences or related field (e.g. Human Services).

Promotional Opportunity
The position will provide on the job training and formal education which upon completion will lead to Counselor in Training (CIT) status. Once accomplished the incumbent of the position will be eligible for promotion to the position of Substance Abuse Specialist without further posting.
Bachelor's Degree in the Social Services field preferred and /or two years experience in the Mental Health field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SUBSTANCE ABUSE THERAPIST
Provides individual, couple, family and group treatment to children, adolescents, and adults referred for substance abuse treatment. Supports implementation of the Substance Abuse Treatment Program Plan for Professional Services.
LCDP in RI or licensed Mental Health Counselor (MFT, MSW) required.
17.5 hr per week. This is a benefit eligible position.
