Newport Community Mental Health
Center, as a 501 (c) 2
non-profit organization does
welcome and appreciate
donations. Quite often,
available funding does not match
up with the need for services.
In some cases, funding sources
have been allocating the same
amount of money for 10 years and
more. It is always a challenge
to meet the demand, so any
contribution that can be made is
most helpful.
To illustrate the variety and
significance of contributions,
this summer a donation of soil,
mulch and plants allowed our
Freedom Apartment residents to
beautify their apartment
community. The experience
was not only therapeutic but
gave these individuals a sense
of pride in their work.
Another donation consisted of
music festival tickets exposing
several residential program
clients to the richness and
diversity of the arts as well as
providing a sense of community.
Children participating in our
Therapeutic Learning Center
enjoyed trips to the Rogers
Williams Zoo this summer.
The sense of discovery and
delight these children
experienced happened only
through the generosity of
tickets donated. It is
through the kindness and
conscientiousness of people in
our community that bring such
life experiences to the clients
that NCCMHC serves. For
this, staff and clients thank
all those who have donated in
the past, and invite those who
are thinking of donating, to
please consider making a
difference to residents of our
community by making a donation
to NCCMHC.
You may donate directly to
NCCMHC, Inc. 127 Johnny Cake

Another way you can help is

Campaign, so please keep us in
mind when making your pledge.
Our Donor Options Number is

A heart felt thanks to all the
individuals and organizations
who have graciously given
donations to the NCCMHC. |
